Felis-ity

She has eaten her Easter bunny and has retired to the chutney shelf in the larder, replete and very pleased with herself. Like a child who has over-indulged on chocolate she looks content but slightly queasy.

The rabbit population appears to have surged locally. This population explosion will doubtless be followed by a rise in the myxomatosis re-infection rate. (Sounds familiar?) From what I read, both the ability of rabbits to withstand the virus, and the ability of the virus to overcome their immnune response have evolved in parallel.
