My kitchen

I was trying to work out what to put on the cover of my cookbook - as kitchen comes into the title, I thought I’d try a photo of it. Thankfully cobwebs don’t show up.

It’s been a gorgeous day, though with a cool breeze, so I’ve spent it mostly lounging on the sofa, being tired after the 2 family days. I finished Still Life which I enjoyed, mostly, though some of it did go on a bit. It was interesting to read about the 1966 floods - that section was well done I thought. Now I’m in the mood for Italy I’ve started a Donna Leon with a murder to solve in Venice and lots of wonderful food to be eaten. I’ll be googling the Orient Express train journey next. Wouldn’t that be a wonderful treat? I don’t do the lottery though.
