Easter Sunday goodies

Happy Easter, joyous Pesach, Eid Mubarak, to all celebrating these religious festivities and happy change of the seasons to everybody else. I was wishing and hoping that the Easter spirit might have reached Moscow and given the Ukrainians a chance for peace but unfortunately that doesn't seem to have happened :-(

At the beginning of the year I was looking forward to organise a very first egg hunt for little Jack, but that wasn't to be. Nevertheless I did paint eggs and baked a yummy Easter Bundt cake (advocaat in the cake batter and in the frosting !) I should start on cooking the Sunday roast dinner within the next hour for the remaining three of us :-)

Thanks so much for all the Abstract Thursday entries last week ! This coming Thursday the optional theme is 'happy accident' and the tag will be AT356. What I mean with a happy accident is something inside, outside or during editing or playing with apps which wasn't quite what you intended but what turned out pretty abstract nonetheless. See for example my extra today, these are my painted Easter eggs, simply painted in a solution of a colour tablet for eggs, boiled water and some vinegar. The colours should be even, but somehow there are blotches, scratches and interesting colour variations per egg, so that many of them look like abstract paintings from close-up. Happy egg-cidents ;-)
