Mallard Portrait

I hope everyone has a happy Easter Sunday!

The theme for this week’s 52Frames challenge was to create an extreme closeup image. I decided to visit my local park because I know that I can get reasonably close to some of the river ducks without disturbing them. I used my telephoto lens to fill the frame, and to create a detailed closeup portrait of this female Mallard duck (Anas platyrhynchos).
