Another sunny day in Tuscany so we headed out to explore Lake Trasimeno, or more accurately to do a circuit. Highlights were seeing wild boar and their babies out for a walk along the shore, and visiting Castiglione del Largo. We dined in our hotel and listened to the wind howling over a glass of fine vino - a leaving Easter gift from our generous friends we left in Cortona. These rather striking statues tower over the roadside close to our hotel. It’s the place to get your religious statue if anyone is in the market!
