Lusan a' chrom-chinn

One of the many stretches of daffodils in and around Pitlochry. 

We passed these as we walked the long way round to get the Sunday papers this morning. 

Much of the afternoon was spent in the garden - I seem to have found my gardening mojo at the expense of my walking one ! 

I am now trying to figure out the literal translation of the Gaelic for daffodil - lus is plant, crom bent or crooked (probably)   and c(h)inn is  the genitive of ceann (head) so possibly plant of the bent head - which makes sense to me.
