Easter morning ..
..under Eda’s magic tree.
Another fabulous day. There was trail around the garden for things left by the Easter bunny. Easter Eggs of course but more.
The blips are a magic moment under Eda’s ‘fairy’ cherry blossom tree which John took of the moment. ( The tree is half way down the garden at the back if the garage)
Some hoola (hula?)hoops ( remember that craze?)which Jude particularly loved - extra - and Eda got a ballet doll and a lovely net skirt with daisies on. Perfect for doing a twirl!
Later we went over to Madeleine’s house for a fun egg hunt and then they came back to Eda’s house for another one! We never did egg hunts with our children they seem to be all the rage now. They weren’t all chocolate so not too many, bunnies and wooden eggs were also to be found and the spoils were evenly divided.
Late afternoon we went to The George at Bathampton, right on the side of the Kennet and Avon canal for a Sunday roast before Chris headed back home. Both the girls love their Yorkshire puddings!
Last night’s show was truly exceptional. I haven’t seen the musical Evita before even though I feel I know it through the familiar songs. It is very powerful and I felt it was one of the best things Grace has performed. I know as a parent one is bound to see your own child’s performance in a special light but I have seen many and she is always good. Eva Peron is not necessarily made likeable by Loyd Webber but I felt she was brilliantly portrayed and both Chris and I frankly found it quite emotional!
Happy Easter Everyone.
