Sign of the times

Spotted this former shop in Stirling, one of a number, where Stirling council asked local artists to come up with a visual solution to closed shops.
 
The result is something eye-catching. Unfortunately nobody looks at it or at the audio guide to Street Stories. On the positive side it’s better than another boarded up shop front and it provides employment for local artists, which is always appreciated.  
 
It’s a stop-gap measure but what does the future hold for our city centres? it’s certainly not shops, well not shops as we have known them ie chain stores.
