Went round to Arclight's to water her plants - mission accomplished, I was on my way to the allotment when it dawned on me that I didn't have the keys. (Since I'd picked up one set of non-house keys my brain obviously couldn't cope with the concept of two different sets....). Went up to the site anyway as I had a bag full of kitchen compost on my back, and if the gate was open we have a spare key for the shed hidden under a brick. Surely someone would be in there working already at 11.30 on a non-rainy Sunday morning? But no - gates locked. Pah. Walked home.

I noticed John Rattray still lining up his shot - it'll be a couple of months before his dunes are covered in wild flowers.
