Sunset from the pit head

Had a walk up to the pit head of the old Kiveton coal mine this evening. It has long been filled in and now forms part of The Kiveton Community Woodland, a haven for wildlife.
Sal’s mum is one of the local volunteers who help to maintain it. They do a grand job!
