Easter Sunday Sunshine

Annie booked tickets for Waddesdon Manor for us to take her step mum this morning. Whilst some of the fabulous show of daffodils are all but over, there were still plenty of other blooms to enjoy, not least of which were these tulips in the formal gardens. We had lunch at the stables.

This afternoon we meandered back to drop Annie's step mum in Cambridge. On the way we stopped in the Ashridge estate at Dockey Wood. The bluebells aren't quite at their best yet but it still a lovely sight (see the extra) that will just improve over the next couple of weeks, especially as the trees over them come into leaf.
