I’ve reached my ceiling ceiling.

One thing I’ve learned is that you can’t do one skim coat, leave it a week and then do the second skim coat. This will lead to lots of swearing. The only way out is to apply a sealer and start again.
I’m not proud of the result - but then again I don’t charge myself forty pounds an hour.
