Off I Go

This heron was quietly waiting for a fish when he was disturbed by some folks in a canoe, if you can call a canoe disturbing.  Mary Jo was visiting, helping me clean up peanut shells at the squirrel feeder (she was doing most of the cleaning, bless her), when we realized that once the canoe got near the heron he would fly off.  Cameras ready and off he went, gliding to another fishing spot.
