Rhubarb

Another quiet day, pottering in the garden. I picked some rhubarb for the first time from the plant I got last year. It is amazing how big it’s got in just one season, but it’s also amazing how most of that is the large leaves and once picked, the amount of stalk is fairly small. I’m not sure my tiny veg patch is really big enough to house the plant, but I’m not sure where else I’d put it so it will have to stay.

I also cut the grass which hasn’t been done for a few weeks, and repotted the mint. But I didn’t get around to potting on some of the seedlings or sowing any more - maybe tomorrow.
