Happy Easter

More glorious weather.  I walked round the garden at 7 and told my self to look at what was lovely rather than everything that needed doing.  The wallflowers are gorgeous. 

Woody and I walked the short loop first and they’ve filled the giant hole in the middle of the corn field.  Definitely a lawsuit in waiting 

Mum, Jono, Sue and Rory came to lunch and we had lamb, slow roast via Diana Henry, and my Claudia Roden almond cake with poached rhubarb. V delicious.  After a late lunch R and I walked up in the woods and talked work and life. It was so lovely to see him. 

Finally solved the foxglove problem by pulling out an Alkanet and popping in a foxglove.  Alkanet as place holder…
