Bee housing

The lady next door had 200 mason bee cocoons arrive today. This is the housing that they have built for them. The shed is on the  shared walk around our house and I'm so excited to see this in action. This is their first summer up here but she has had great previous success in Suffolk so we're hoping it won't be too cold here to get them started. As all our flowering plants appear later up here she went to a nursery and bought some already flowering which she has planted alongside the shed, extra photo. Also an extra of the life of the bees if anyone is interested. We have daffodils, plenty of dandelions and a few other flowers so hopefully when they emerge they will have enough pollen.
