I'm in the Mentoring Program of Vermont and this is my Mentee.  L just turned 18 today.  We had a walk around town, reading poems, looking at what's popping up for plants, and a little window shopping.  Such a joy to be home and see L again of this special day.  My official role as Mentor ends at graduation from high school but our friendship is beyond the official now.
