As far as the eye could see
My walk in Acomb Woods was late in the afternoon, by which time the sun had come out and the wood anemones were open. The wood is at its very best now. There are early bluebells, a few cowslips, and banks of primroses.
This morning I was in sorting/tidying mode. I worked hard, but there was no sign that I had achieved anything!! Such is life.
I popped to the shop to collect our papers. That involved conversations with 5 lots of people.
After lunch, I drove Margret (next door) from her house to ours. We had a lovely chatty afternoon. Later on Liz arrived and joined in.
Now it's time to make the evening meal and enjoy the evening light.
