Mono Monday: Alone

Having not done a great deal today apart from walk into town for my paper, this afternoon I decided to visit Baconsthorpe Castle for the first time.  It's a ruin of a fortified manor house which was finally abandoned in the 17th Century, and had quite good blip potential so I thought of ignoring the Mono Monday theme.  Until I saw this tree; alone, abandoned and frankly, dead.  The castle blip can wait for another day.
