On the way to Assynt

Up at eight, walking by half nine, bright, cool weather, great company. 

Navigation was relatively easy, a walk in beside a small river, a slog up a boggy gully to the bealach, sandwiches and chat. A steep step to the top of Conival, then a stumbling ridge walk out to Ben More Assynt. 

Home was just the same route in reverse. 

Back to the Speleological bothy for pasta and showers and banter. 

An excellent day.
