It's quite a talking point,
as are the massive chandaliers that the previous owner  left.  
They are not our thing so we are taking them down very soon.

Maria arrived  bearing fabulous gifts  and then got stuck in to some tricky curtain manoeuvring, followed by a stint in the garden, cutting back all the dead stuff and doing some weeding. 
We've not stopped all day.  It's exhausting.
Tomorrow is the big move.
