Easter egg hunt
We didn't see them yesterday as their other grandparents were in town, so this afternoon, after a wonderful session at the science festival the egg huntresses descended.
Eilidh was on green and yellow and Isobel on blue and pink, that way Eilidh doesn't go off with all the easy ones and leave Isobel with none. Must have taken them at least 5 minutes of fun and laughter. They each had a mini bunny to find too which didn't cause any problems.
Except for me, we were one yellow egg down at the end and I must have searched the garden about 6 times since, trying to find it, unsuccessfully! It reminded me that the first few times we did this about 10 years ago, with the couples, there weren't even any children just 4 giggling adults. It made hiding the eggs a bit trickier mind you. I seen to tender climbing the apples tree.
Another warm day today, Joyce left on the 2 pm train and we had intended going for coffee and a doughnut first but the doughnut shop appeared to be shut. Mum is with us for the next week or so.
I'm still testing negative but have a really irritating cough left from my lurgy. Hopefully all will be gone by the time we head off to Turkey. Good timing really
