Snow!

It's not uncommon to have some snow here in March, but mid April? It rained today pretty nonstop, except for the bouts of sleet in the morning and the quarter hour of giant sopping wet snowflakes pouring down between me (staring out the front door) and the bright spring green leaves of Mrs. Tree.

Took I. to her foot check, and she's doing great so doesn't have to wear the walking boot anymore. W. took her back to UVA in time for an afternoon class.

I think these are Thalia narcissus, a type with 2-3 flowers per stem. They have a nice fragrance. Planted some bulbs a few years ago and they've spread into a nice clump. You could ascribe the blurriness to me shivering in our high of 36 degrees. :-)
