Splashing around

This is the Alpine LMP2 prototype in the supporting European Le Mans Series race on Saturday afternoon. It started to rain just as this race started, and it continued to rain, and the track got very wet, leading to rooster tails of spray being thrown out of the rear of the cars.

It became so wet the the safety car was dispatched to neutralize the race for safety reasons, and then the race was ultimately red flagged as the conditions were not going to improve
