Workshop Shabby Chic

Today stared with another early morning run and then a short walk to our nearest M&S for Friday food.
As the weather was glorious me and my brother decided we would frequent The Chequers pub in Aylesford village for a cold pint looking out across the River Medway. We shared some fries with our pints and watched as a flotilla of boats floated serenely past. Lovely!
We then headed out to The Friars (our local Carmelite priory) for a stroll. For my main image I eschewed the delights of the priory itself (which have been the subject of quite a few previous blips) and instead migrated towards these rather dilapidated workshops behind the car park. Can't beat a shabby chic light industrial unit! I just loved those characterful doors.
As a marked contrast the extra is of some tulips in the undergrowth next to the duck pond which we passed on the way out - I particularly like the yellow one with a single red petal.
