Spring snowfall

This was some snowstorm. Yuck. We got around 4 inches (10 cm), which is absolutely shocking after it was around 80F (26C) a few days ago. What is this nonsense? Go away!

It warmed up by late afternoon, turning the snow to rain. That made everything slush. Gross. Some tree limbs snapped, though not anywhere near us. Roads were snarled and closed. The university closed at 2 p.m. and Jill had to figure out how to get home. She eventually made it.

What a mess.
