Sir Peter Scott is watching over me?

We visited the WWT centre at Barnes today. We took the grandchildren as their school had an INSET day. They like the adventure playground and can now recognise quite a few of the water birds there.

The statue is by the entrance and I know I have blipped it previously but not with a Canada goose nesting at Sir Peter’s feet!

We have not visited for a while and were surprised at how quiet it was there today. We think more volunteers must have come back as there has been more maintenance of vegetation which had been very overgrown during the pandemic.

Also there were lots of cowslips there which I have not seen elsewhere near us this year.
