Pink petals

I took a short walk around the neighbourhood this afternoon, enjoying all the flowering trees and birdsong. I feel a sense of deja vu; owing to upcoming surgery I’ve had to resume social distancing, and it feels rather like lockdown again. Makes me realise how lucky I am compared to those with serious chronic conditions.

I again spent hours on the refugee fundraising project; the end is in sight.
