Walk

The good weather has finally reached SE Scotland so, although I was formally back to work today, I gave Django a long walk first thing. It was chilly in the shade, but the views over to the hills were very clear. Back home, I dealt with household admin for both us and Mum, and then some work admin, before settling into the new coding project for our solver. 

In the afternoon I attended a dull department meeting, and then had a meeting with И to catch up on the work we've been doing and discuss how she should prepare for her upcoming PhD viva. Afterwards I booked travel and accommodation for my first trip outside the UK since February 2020 - in order to attend a two-day workshop in Stockholm in June.
