Dornoch Firth
Yesterday’s extra become today’s main blip. Most mornings when we head down to the shoreline for a quick breather, the light over Dornoch Firth is excellent, and today was no exception. I didn’t have the best lens on for this sort of thing, but I coped. The alternative would have been some more lichen. It might yet come to that.
After a quick poke around Ardgay at lunchtime, we headed over to tick central Migdale woods for another walk on the other side of the valley. It was not really a success as it was a lot muddier than we had expected, probably because that trail appears to be used by a lot of horses. Anyway, it was a bit of a walk, which was fine, except that there weren’t really any views either.
Other than that, I’ve been pressing on with various things that need doing. Nothing grand like writing today, but rather some marking and some peer review, and the series editors’ preface to a book coming out in our series. I hope to get back to some writing later in the week.
