A male bullfinch munching on a leaf bud

I thought the two pairs of bullfinches would be nesting by now but they all seem to be avidly feeding. they've changed their food of choice from sunflower seeds to their more traditional fayre of tree leaf buds. 

I had a shot of this male with a massive mouthful of reddish foliage, but unfortunately it was slightly out of focus, which won't do.
