Annandale Water

There several hotels/motels that I've used over the years to break the journey between Aberdeen and Oxford - this time the overnight stop was at Annandale Water  Services near Lockerbie.   Unlike most of the motorway service areas it has the option of walks around a wee loch - and (sometimes at least) a room with a lakeside view.

I managed a couple of laps of the loch this morning before pointing the car south for the 300 mile haul down the motorways to Oxford.
