Grand old lady

75th birthday this year and paddle steamer Waverley is approaching Custom House Quay this morning. This is the first sailing down the River Clyde after winter layup in Glasgow. This afternoon she entered dry dock here in Greenock where various work will prepare the steamer for the busy summer season ahead.
