Day out!

Delighted to have accompanied my daughter on a little adventure today.. we headed off to Brighton and had an ice cream on the beach!!  We were on a mission nearby but I said if I was going to drive her there all that way then I needed to see the Royal Pavilion in Brighton.  We didn't actually pay to go in but we did walk all the way round and had some lunch overlooking it. After that we had a mixed experience while she bought a second hand van.. all went well except for the setting up of the insurance.  She has a car insured with Direct Line so it seemed sensible to add on to that insurance policy. Having filled in all the forms yesterday she had hoped to accept the quote with a punch of a button today.. sadly that was not to be as their phone lines and internal systems were suffering from a technical problem so the process took nearly three hours as we waited to get it sorted. She did sort it in the end and we drove home.. now I am ready to sleep
