Penobscot Bay

The day over all was just what the extra shows.... wind and rain. I like the blurry weirdness of the rain on the windows. We had big gusts of wind and the house shook all day... but we didn't lose power.
Later the wind calmed to just a bit breezy and the sky actually cleared. And then I remembered I needed to get my car to the shop for its appointment tomorrow. Off we went. As we drove through the tiny town of Penobscot I stopped at the turnout and took a picture as the sun was going down. It was really pretty. It takes about 15 minutes or so to get to the mechanics home/shop, within that time we saw a fox, a deer, a turkey and a bald eagle. Not too bad!
