55+ Plus Youth=One Fun And Filling Pot-Luck!

The 55+ group hosted a pot-luck and we invited the youth so that we could all get to know each other better.  I don't take pictures of people eating, but I will take pictures of people as they are going through the line to fill their plates.  If my collage looks busy and noisy, it captures the evening.  After we ate, we had a fun little activity about generational slang terms where the youth had to define slang terms from the 60's and the rest of us had to define more current slang terms.  How many on the list would you have known?  After that we were put into groups by our birth seasons and then further divided by whether we preferred cats or dogs.  That mixed the groups well as we sat at tables and answered questions called out by the moderator about our life experiences.  It made for some interesting conversation and some bonding.  We finished the evening with prayer around our tables by those who felt comfortable doing so.  It was a delightful evening of fun, food, fellowship and making new connections!
