Lake Wānaka

It’s been a dull day, and we even got quite wet playing golf this afternoon at Hāwea.
Frida and I had a nice walk from Stoney Creek to Waterfall Creek return. She got so many pats on the way from people who were homesick for their dogs…so her pet therapy services are back as more visitors come to town!

In this photo, you can see the size of the Wānaka Tree compared to the Poplars around the lake edge. The lake is still very low.

Well done to Blippers who guessed what yesterdays photo was. The car wash made a beautiful job of cleaning a very dirty car - and now I’m researching about the chemicals used and the impact on the environment! That’s still a work in progress.

We now have our first fire on this year- the 5 of us are enjoying it very much.
