Inverted Whip

EASTER MONDAY

Another fine and sunny April day. We spent most of it out in the garden. 

Lawns cut and edges strimmed. The border at the side of the driveway weeded and hoed. Lots of mint removed from the herb garden. Gravelled path raked and weeded.

In total I spent around seven hours outside and clocked up 25,000 steps in the process. 

Harriet and George gave me some M&S  "Hot Cross Bun" chocolates for Easter. They are actually inverted walnut whips. Delicious and a welcome treat during my coffee breaks. 

Stayed up far too late this evening.
