First tulips

A day of firsts. Lots of things in flower at RHS Harlow Carr and despite the wind the sun brought out lots of people. We did manage to get lunch at Betty's, unlike ValC but the queues were very long.

We enjoyed a blustery walk around the gardens revealing in the sun and the signs of Spring.

It was hard to choose a blip but the shear vibrancy of these tiny tulips, especially as there is no sign of any in our garden, won the day.
