The last of the winter snow

View from the flat today: it is after mid-April and there is still a little bit of snow lying. Its departure leaves a view of mud and mess. Within three weeks this will be green and clean as nature does the work which in Britain the state pays people to do, largely unnecessarily, because there is so much concrete and neatness.
