Lunch in High Beach

Today marks exactly one year since I had my hip replacement op - yay!
Today is also the day that our friends A and D have come to visit us all the way from Perth Australia.  It's the first time we've seen them since August 2019.  Of course they have  lots of family and friends to visit during their 5 week stay in the UK, including their son and fifth grandchild but this week they are staying with us for two days and will come back for a couple of days next week.
We had lunch at the King's Oak and later had dinner at a local Indian restaurant.  In between we managed to book a cruise for 2023, when we'll join them and friends.  It seems so exciting to be planning a trip once  again.
