Welcome Home
Arrived back home after a tiring drive to be greeted by a lot of very thirsty flowers and shrubs.
Coming back from an excellent long weekend away we got caught in a 'bit of traffic'. Going cross country to avoid the crowds on the A5 and M54, we were diverted around Craven Arms due to road closures.
Enough of that nonsense, let's talk plants. Everything was so dry.
After a very wholesome lunch lovingly prepared by the lady of the house, I set to with a will and watered everything.
These Rhodenthemums showed their appreciation almost instantly, and with such vigour I thought they were going to start clapping!
Often sad to leave a happy holiday behind, today was different. I realise how lucky we are to have a modest little home and a great garden. Pleasure in everything, even mowing the lawn which I need to do now.
Thanks for the splendid comments and stars and hearts which you generously gave over the Easter weekend, very kind indeed!
