Out for Exercise

I'd walked to the swimming pool for an early swim, before returning via the park when I saw this couple.  They had such wide smiles on their faces, despite what they said were their first tentative efforts on roller skates.  I thought they were really brave, but probably chose the early hour in case they embarrassed themselves.

After that it was a working day and two further visits to homes being offered as sanctuary from the war in Ukraine.  I thought the first property was impressive, a 16th Century property with 7 bedrooms, but it was topped by the other, complete with castlements and 8 bedrooms and 9 acres.  Both were perfectly suitable for the guests, who are waiting on visas to be issued before they can arrive in the country.

A beautiful day, with plenty of sunshine and warm in our sheltered garden.
