Phin’s new room

Took Phin to doggy daycare this morning before the joiner arrived to start building his hutch. They did a grand job I think, just need to get it painted when we get the hall and stairs done. It’s beautifully lined and had lovely skirting round the laminate floor. His bed fits in nicely.

He’s a little bemused by the hutch but did lie on his bed for a biscuit bribe!

Miss PHL wasn’t any better this morning so dutifully called the doctors and had a telephone appointment for mid morning. The doctor was surprised that she’d been sent away from the hospital without antibiotics as her urine test clearly showed an infection. He arranged for a prescription and asked her to collect a sample tube so a sample could be sent to the lab for further analysis. He advised her that going more than 4-8 hours without needing to pee is not normal so she needs to call again if she’s no better after finishing the antibiotics or if she feels worse.

Mr PHL left to collect Miss PHL to bring her out to the doctors surgery and I tacked the cupboards in the en-suite. Why do I insist on keeping so many things that are half used or out of date? Well no more as they’re all in the bin.

It was another lovely sunny day so it was great to sit with the windows open to enjoy the weather.
