Wimbledon Park: GCG (Getting Closer to Grebes?)

I had an appointment over by Wimbledon Park, so I went over early and photographed the birds on the boating lake there... This grebe kept diving to reach a nest deep beneath a large pontoon, but I managed to get closer than usual by going out on the pontoon near to where it'd often resurface on leaving the nest.
