Blue Eyes

A nice solo hike at Bearstown Lakes through the woods and around the big lake.  Mud covered my boots and up to the calves of my jeans.  Saw some wildflowers, scared some ducks, heard and saw lots of different birds but couldn't blip them.  Thanked the GPD maintenance guy for the clean bathroom.  Told him I exclaimed out loud when I entered: "Oh! Civilization!"  (It had TP, seat covers, a hand sanitizer dispenser, and no smell!!!)  He laughed and thanked me.  We digressed into a comparison of park restrooms and swapped stories, as you do.  A beautiful afternoon with sunshine, friendly people, and beautiful nature.  And a clean bathroom.  Bonus!
