Rehearsalus Interruptus

I lumbered along, on time (just about) and excited to have the first rehearsal with the entire cast present only to find that half were missing as one member was having the night off to prepare for a job interview, one had sadly had a relative die and the other had dropped off the face of the earth and was going to have to be replaced.

Suffice it to say, we did not get anything done.

I used the time wisely and on getting home, changed into my painting gear and did some more work on the wee one’s bedrooms at Project House as well as some more prep work on the bathroom. I won’t be able to do much more now until the weekend, but at least things are in a position where doors can now be hung and on completion at the weekend, carpets will be ready to go on Monday.

If the builder can maintain his current pace, there is an outside chance that the new downstairs bathroom MIGHT be complete by the end of next week too, but my goodness it will be tight.
