They Did It Again

The county tree trimming crews have been through the neighborhood again. They just butcher these trees. On one side of the road the power lines go through. There are big oaks growing and this is what they do to the poor things. They take the middle right out of them. On some of them, they have just cut half of the tree right off.

A little history, this road used to be just a dirt trail where the ranchers would move their cows from one area to another. There are big oaks and pines everywhere. Then the day came, they paved a real road however, they did not take into account that someday these trees would get so big. Makes me sad to see them like this, because the next step will be cutting them down all together.
