Shooting Free Throws with a Torn Achilles Tendon

It's been one of the most fascinating seasons ever for the LA Lakers. I've been watching almost every game they've played on NBA Game Time on my iPad. With three games left in the season this game against the Warriors was a must-win if they were to make the playoffs. The whole team have been struggling with injuries all season and Kobe has been playing through pain to set an example. That example went too far this time. He injured his knee and came up limping but played on, then he injured his ankle and was really limping but played on as it was such a crucial game. Despite the injuries he managed to hit two three-pointers to bring it close in the fourth quarter but then the worst happened. Still down two points he tore his Achilles' tendon. Incredibly he limped back onto the court to hit two free throws to tie the game before heading to the locker room. With a torn Achilles! They were crucial free throws and the Lakers won a very close game.
