Green Hairstreak

I had a look back through my blips and spotted that the green hairstreaks emerge around now so we went to see if we could find one - or two, shimmering in the sunshine.

Almost impossible to see when they're flying, they stand out well when you know to scan the bracken for them perching.  There must have been a dozen around.
